El Libro de Recetas es un objeto especial entregado al Jugador al comienzo de cada partida, obtenible únicamente a través de la clase Chef. Para fijarlo en tu pantalla, simplemente equípalo y haz clic en cualquier parte; desaparecerá de tu inventario y reaparecerá como un botón en la esquina superior derecha de tu pantalla, similar al Mapa, excepto que no requiere fuego para funcionar.
Chef Recipe Book — In-Depth Analysis
The Chef Recipe Book is not a consumable or a weapon but a class-exclusive utility: it spawns in your inventory at the start of every run, but only if you picked the Chef class. It carries no hunger value and no combat stats, so its worth is purely informational. The book lists the cooking recipes the Chef can prepare, and the gallery hints at the payoff dishes you are working toward, such as Seafood, Steak Dinner, Pumpkin Soup, BBQ Ribs, Carrot Cake and Jar O' Jelly.
What makes it genuinely convenient is the pin mechanic. Equip the book and click anywhere, and it collapses into a button in the top-right corner of your screen, mirroring how the Map behaves, so you can re-open it any time without digging through your bag. Crucially, unlike the Map it does not need a lit fire to function, meaning you can check recipes while traveling, mid-raid, or far from camp.
Is it worth grabbing? You do not really grab it, you receive it, and there is no reason to discard it. For anyone running the Chef build it is the reference sheet that makes high-tier cooking practical, and since it occupies a pinned slot rather than clogging inventory, keep it pinned all game.
