Fence Portion

The Fence Portion is a Miscellaneous-type location in 99 Nights in the Forest, a single segment of broken or abandoned fencing that the game treats as a small searchable object. It is among the most easily overlooked props on the map, blending into ruined campsites and overgrown clearings where old structures once stood.

Like the other minor props, it pulls from the common structure loot pool of Fuel, Scrap, Special items, and Mossy Coins. The Scrap is the most reliable payoff here, useful for repairs and upgrades, while the Special slot is the wildcard that occasionally makes a worthless-looking fence segment briefly exciting. Quantities are minimal, so the Fence Portion is purely a convenience grab, never something to plan a route around.

Its danger level is effectively nil, with no inhabitants attached to it, so the only thing to watch is your surroundings rather than the object itself. Because fence portions tend to cluster around former settlements, the wider area may hold tougher threats or better structures nearby. Treat the fence as a free tap on your way to those richer targets, and never waste daylight lingering on it.
