Tree Stump

The Tree Stump is a Miscellaneous location in 99 Nights in the Forest, one of those small, easily overlooked features scattered across the map that exist purely as a quick resource drop. It is not a landmark you plan a route around, but it pays off when you happen to pass one.

For its modest size, the loot table is well-rounded. A Tree Stump can yield Fuel, Scrap, and Mossy Coins, plus an entry simply tagged as Special, which hints at the occasional better-than-average pickup. That mix is exactly what early-game survival runs on: fuel for your campfire, scrap for crafting and upgrades, and coins toward the economy, with the chance at something extra sweetening the stop.

On the risk side, the Tree Stump has no inhabitants of its own, so there is nothing guarding it and no fight required to claim the goods. The only real hazard is whatever wanders nearby, since wolves or cultists roaming the open forest can catch you mid-grab. Treat it as a no-cost detour: if one is on your path, loot it, but do not go out of your way through dangerous ground just to reach one.
