Dumpster

The Dumpster is a Miscellaneous-type location in 99 Nights in the Forest, one of the many small searchable props scattered across the map rather than a full structure with rooms to clear. Visually it is a humble trash bin, and it works exactly like one: a single quick interaction that rewards a sharp eye while you are passing through.

For such a tiny object, its loot pool is surprisingly broad, drawing from Fuel, Scrap, Special items, and Mossy Coins. That makes the Dumpster genuinely worth a tap whenever you spot one, since the Mossy Coins feed your shop purchases and the Special slot can occasionally cough up something above its station. Do not expect stacks, though, the value is in convenience, not volume.

The real appeal of the Dumpster is that it carries zero combat risk on its own, with no inhabitants tied to it. The only danger is opportunity cost and ambient threat, lingering to search every bin after dark exposes you to wolves and the daily night assault. Loot it in passing during daylight, grab the coins and scrap, and keep moving toward higher-yield cabins and camps.
