Watchtower

The Watchtower is a Tower-type structure and one of the better casual loot stops in 99 Nights in the Forest. It comes in green and yellow variants (plus seasonal Christmas skins), but mechanically the payout is what matters: the tower yields Fuel, Scrap, and Special items, plus Mossy Coins, and notably a stack of 5x Old Flashlights. That flashlight cache is the standout draw — flashlights are constantly drained at night, so finding five at once is a meaningful resource swing for any squad.

It is worth visiting because the loot mix covers three core needs at once: fuel keeps your campfire alive, scrap feeds crafting and repairs, and coins fund shop purchases. As a tall, fixed landmark it also doubles as a navigation reference when you are scouting the map, helping you reorient toward base before dark.

The risks are situational rather than built-in — the structure itself has no listed inhabitants, so the threat comes from whatever roams the surrounding area at night and from the climb leaving you exposed. Loot it efficiently in daylight, grab the flashlights and fuel first, and avoid lingering up top once the light starts to fade.
