Description
Rabbit is one of the movement-oriented races in Blox Fruits, built around speed and agility rather than raw combat power. Characters who roll this race gain passive bonuses that emphasize quick repositioning, making it a popular choice for players who prefer a hit-and-run playstyle or need to close gaps on enemies fast. Like all races, Rabbit can be randomly assigned at character creation or re-rolled later using Robux in the Shop, tickets from the Event Shop, or by visiting the Death King NPC. Awakening Rabbit through V2, V3, and eventually V4 via the Race Awakening questline progressively strengthens its mobility passives, giving the race more utility in both PvP and grinding. While it lacks the defensive perks of races like Cyborg or the combat synergies of Shark, Rabbit rewards players who master movement timing and evasion.
- +
Highest mobility out of all Races, allowing the user to dodge attacks and travel long distance with ease.
- +
Dashing will technically not cost any energy if the user's Melee stat is above 900.
- +
It actually will take a slight bit, but it regenerates faster than it can waste.
- +
Very good when paired with Ice or Awakened Magma because of the speed the player gets while running, if the player has a good amount of energy.
- +
High mobility, able to dodge efficiently and quickly.
- +
Dashes are extended a lot more.
- +
Dashes cooldown is also reduced.
- +
Drains Instinct.
- +
Can trap players.
- +
Good for stopping players chasing after you if you decide to run away.
- +
Allows the player to dash in the highest speeds in comparison to any race. (Cyborg could be an exception.)
- +
The second tier of this gear grants the player aerial movement and opportunities for surprise attacks or combos.
- +
Amazing for running or catching runners.
- −
Only provides speed buffs. (Apart from the V4 ability Whirlwind, but it still does little damage and is easily escapable.)
- −
The trial maze is difficult to complete. (If not the hardest of all Races other than Draco)
- −
Still can be outpaced by other races and fruits, despite being the fastest race.
- −
Only provides a speed buff.
- −
Can be heavily punished if the user tries to trap an experienced player.
- −
Can be Instinct-tricked.
- −
The buffs granted in the preceding versions make this gear fall in comparison to other races.
- −
[F] skills or skills that allow the user to have fast paced movement can overshadow this gear's second tier.
- −
Cyborg V4's Energy Control gear at its second tier, paired with Skull Guitar's M1 movement glitch could easily outrun the held dash Rabbit's Lightning Cloak's second tier offers.
Trivia
10- 1
The speed boosts provided by accessories and Tiger will stack with Rabbit's speed boost.
- 2
As such, a Rabbit's V3 ability combined with the Pilot Helmet can reach a speed surpassing even Light's [F] (in both versions of the fruit).
- 3
Before the arrival of Race Awakenings, Rabbit was widely considered the best race for PvP. However, after their introduction, Rabbit fell out of favor and was seen as one of the weaker options. This shift highlighted other races and their V3 abilities' usefulness (such as Angel and Ghoul) which have since become some of the most popular choices in the game.
- 4
Even though the Rabbit race is based off rabbits, awakening/unlocking V4 adds a wolf tail, contrary to the previous appearances.
- 5
Rabbit V3's cooldown was increased by 10 seconds.
- 6
Slightly increased the stun and damage on Rabbit V4 tornadoes.
- 7
Mink was renamed to Rabbit.
- 8
Dash and run are balanced, narrowing the gap between Mink and the other races.
- 9
The speed boost of v1 has been reduced from 60% to 50%.
- 10
Mink was released.

Rabbit — In-Depth Analysis
## What Rabbit Is and How to Get It
Rabbit (formerly known as Mink) is one of the four starter bloodlines in Blox Fruits, obtained with a 12.5% chance at character creation. Like the other spawn-races (Angel, Human, Shark), it can also be acquired through Race Reroll, the Event Shop, or Death King during limited availability windows. Its V3 trial maze is considered one of the hardest race trials in the game — comparable in difficulty only to Draco's quest chain — so reaching V4 demands significant commitment.
## Role, Strengths, and Weaknesses
Rabbit is the pure mobility race. It grants the highest raw movement speed of any bloodline, and at Melee stats above 900, dashing effectively costs no energy (regeneration outpaces consumption). This makes Rabbit invaluable for escaping bad fights, closing gaps on runners, and chaining long-range fruit combos from a position of constant motion. Its V4 ability drains enemy Instinct and can trap players, adding an offensive layer to what is otherwise a positional tool.
The honest weakness is that Rabbit offers almost nothing beyond speed. No damage bonus, no defense, no healing — outside of V4's Whirlwind, the race's entire value is positional. Experienced players can read the predictable dash patterns, and several fruits and accessories can match or exceed Rabbit's speed in specific situations.
Tip: Rabbit shines most on Sword or Fighting Style builds that rely on closing distance quickly — combining it with a long-range fruit largely wastes the race's main advantage.
