Moves & Abilities

5 moves
Moveset
Z
Rhapsody NotesMastery: 1

The user shoots out three projectile notes on the first use horizontally, five on the second use horizontally, and five on the third use vertically at the location of the cursor. Projectiles explode and deal damage to enemies on impact. Intentionally missing the 1st hit allows the user to deal more damage. The user needs to press this key 3 times.

X
FortissimoMastery: 50

The user generates a large cone of music notes, dealing AoE damage and knocking back enemies.

C
Symphonic RadianceMastery: 100

The user generates a disco ball that fires beams which auto-aim at all nearby enemies in a large area. After that, the disco ball fires itself to where the cursor is aimed, exploding on impact. Damage dealt to an enemy is multiplied by ×0.85 each time a beam hits them.

V
Glorious HarmonyMastery: 250

The user releases five small projectiles, and then a large one, which explodes on impact. The larger projectile will summon a black hole, attracting nearby enemies and dealing damage for a short time after exploding.

F
Tempo: PrestissimoMastery: 175

The user flies using a music staff, which regenerates Tempo Meter. Health and energy regeneration are disabled while the move is activated, like almost all mobility moves.

Cons

14
  • Slow cooldowns.

  • No stun, making it easy to escape.
  • Damage dealt to an enemy using this move is dramatically reduced if it hits them multiple times in one use.

  • Small attraction range.
  • Final projectile has long startup.
  • The flight is slow before getting max Tempo Meter.
  • Needs a long time to get faster flight.

Trivia

10
  • 1Sound is the first fan-made fruit to be added to the game. The original concept was created by @Aqu4G (on X/Twitter), one of the winners of the first fan fruit/art contest. The second is the Kitsune fruit.
  • 2Many of Sound's moves contain musical vocabulary, such as Tempo (rate of speed of music played), Prestissimo (very fast) or Fortissimo (very loud).
  • 3While using , the user can fly faster (or even faster with the Tempo Meter activated) when their health is low, but not as fast as Venom (it also has the same flight mechanic). Blade also shares this mechanic though, it is less noticable
  • 4Sound now allows for the newest, highest potential speed for a player in the game, by combining the following: Maximum Tempo Meter + Rabbit V4 (and Agility) + Pilot Helmet. However, this is still not the fastest transportation method, as Portal has the ability to almost instantly teleport to most islands in any sea.
  • 5Sound is the second least expensive fruit to have a meter, but also a variable meter.
  • 6Sound is also one of the fruits that have meters that are not intended for transformation, with the others being Gravity, Shadow, Creation, Eagle, Pain and Spirit.
  • 7Sound was nerfed.
  • 8Tempo: Prestissimo damage reduction lowered to 15%.
  • 9C hitbox size reduced by 10%.
  • 10Sound was released.
