Great for sky camping. This is useful against some spammable fruits such as Dragon and Dough.

The higher initial Air Jump makes it possible in situations where hitting a move in the air is easier, (i.e; hitting Dough (Awakened or Non-Awakened) X or Awakened Rumble [X]) its possible without wasting a teleport move.

Heals very fast, and can be used to regen during a move (such as Control V), unlike natural regen.

Fast health and energy regeneration is useful for PvP and boss fights.

Allows the user to out-heal one-shot combos.

Good for drawing out long fights.

Easier access to high locations such as Temple of Time.

Quite fast.

Good for traveling.

Can be used to escape combats.

High stun and damage.

Can drain Portal users' energy quickly if they use [V] Dimensional Rift, making them unable to cast abilities and move quickly.

Good for breaking enemies' combos, especially one-shot combos.

Breaks Instinct.

Difficult to escape.

Air Jump still costs energy, although it is reduced.

Jumping doesn't really help with moving/dodging, which is important in PvP.

Instead of healing immediately, it heals over time.

Weak defense.

No damage or movement buffs.

Doesn't give advantages in PvP. (Although it can aid in running away)

Cannot be used with nearly all Beast transformations. (Including Gas)

Short range.

Doesn't completely stun neither Bosses, nor players.

May mess up some combos while in the air due to its tendency to stun enemies towards the ground.
