Description
Angel is one of the original races in Blox Fruits, themed around celestial beings with a clear focus on aerial mobility. Players have an equal chance of starting as Angel alongside the other base races, and can reroll at any time through the Shop, the Event Shop, or by visiting the Death King. What sets Angel apart early on is its air-jump enhancements: even at V1 and V2 the race grants extra jump height and an additional air jump, making it noticeably easier to chase opponents across the sky or escape ground-level pressure. As players awaken Angel through the Race Awakening questline, it leans further into a hybrid mobility-and-sustain identity. V3 introduces Heavenly Blood, a short-duration healing passive that gives Angel a degree of self-recovery unavailable to most other races mid-fight. V4 pushes the concept to its ceiling with sustained flight and a damaging aura that can drain enemy energy, apply slowness, and disrupt combos — turning Angel from a movement tool into a genuine combat presence. It suits players who prefer staying airborne and controlling the pace of a fight from above.
- +
Great for sky camping. This is useful against some spammable fruits such as Dragon and Dough.
- +
The higher initial Air Jump makes it possible in situations where hitting a move in the air is easier, (i.e; hitting Dough (Awakened or Non-Awakened) X or Awakened Rumble [X]) its possible without wasting a teleport move.
- +
Heals very fast, and can be used to regen during a move (such as Control V), unlike natural regen.
- +
Fast health and energy regeneration is useful for PvP and boss fights.
- +
Allows the user to out-heal one-shot combos.
- +
Good for drawing out long fights.
- +
Easier access to high locations such as Temple of Time.
- +
Quite fast.
- +
Good for traveling.
- +
Can be used to escape combats.
- +
High stun and damage.
- +
Can drain Portal users' energy quickly if they use [V] Dimensional Rift, making them unable to cast abilities and move quickly.
- +
Good for breaking enemies' combos, especially one-shot combos.
- +
Breaks Instinct.
- +
Difficult to escape.
- −
Air Jump still costs energy, although it is reduced.
- −
Jumping doesn't really help with moving/dodging, which is important in PvP.
- −
Instead of healing immediately, it heals over time.
- −
Weak defense.
- −
No damage or movement buffs.
- −
Doesn't give advantages in PvP. (Although it can aid in running away)
- −
Cannot be used with nearly all Beast transformations. (Including Gas)
- −
Short range.
- −
Doesn't completely stun neither Bosses, nor players.
- −
May mess up some combos while in the air due to its tendency to stun enemies towards the ground.
Trivia
10- 1
Unawakened Buddha's transformation can turn the wings into golden wings. (Although they cannot be used with Prince of the Skies.)
- 2
The Prince of the Skies gear is disabled while any transformation is active.
- 3
If the user activates V3 Angel while standing inside Ghoul V4 domain, the healing will remain 1/sec.
- 4
While the user has V4 on, they can stand on lava, since the idle animation is technically off-ground.
- 5
When the user activates V4 and stands near another player, that victim's colours become black‑and‑white, creating a fully desaturated, inverted visual effect on their screen.
- 6
Interestingly, if the user equips Eagle and goes V4, their Angel wings disappear and are replaced with Eagle's wings and have the exact same animation when flying/hovering.
- 7
Angel's King's Rule got nerfed.
- 8
Aura stun now stuns for slightly less time.
- 9
Aura stun deals slightly less damage.
- 10
Angel's V3 Ability (Heavenly Blood) was nerfed.

Angel — In-Depth Analysis
## What Angel Is and How to Get It
Angel (formerly Sky) is one of the four starter bloodlines in Blox Fruits, assigned randomly at character creation with a 12.5% chance. You can also re-roll into it via the Race Reroll item or pick it up from the Event Shop / Death King during limited windows. Because it costs nothing beyond luck at spawn, Angel is accessible to any player — you won't need to grind a quest chain or farm rare materials to obtain it.
## Role, Strengths, and Weaknesses
Angel rewards an aerial, defensive playstyle. Its passive air-jump gives you a meaningful edge for sky-camping against short-range spammable fruits like Dragon or Dough, and its fast health and energy regeneration makes it one of the better sustain races — useful in boss fights and drawn-out PvP exchanges where outlasting opponents matters. The ability to out-heal one-shot combos and break enemy Instinct adds genuine clutch value.
The downside is that Angel provides no raw damage or movement buffs, and its healing is gradual rather than instant. The air-jump still costs energy, and airborne positioning can disrupt your own combos if timed carelessly.
Tip: Pair Angel with a fruit that has reliable mid-air hitboxes (e.g., Rumble or Dough) to fully exploit the elevated positioning — that's when the extra air-jump stops being a cosmetic perk and starts winning fights.
