Description

Draco is one of the rarest races in Blox Fruits, obtained exclusively through the Dragon Wizard NPC rather than a standard race reroll. Its draconic identity sets it apart visually and mechanically, granting combat-oriented passives that grow significantly as you awaken it through V2, V3, and V4 via the Race Awakening quest line. Each upgrade tier deepens the dragon theme, rewarding players who invest in the awakening grind with stronger offensive and resilience perks. Because of its unique acquisition method, Draco is less common than races obtained through rerolling, making it a status symbol as much as a practical choice. Players seeking a race with aggressive, dragon-flavored gameplay will find Draco suits high-damage PvP and boss-farming builds well, especially once fully awakened.

Pros15
  • +

    Good against teamers.

  • +

    Great defense.

  • +

    Insane damage, despite heavy nerfs.

  • +

V4 causes lag to enemies (weak devices).

  • +

Great for both team-based combat and 1v1s.

  • +

Increases damage and movement speed for both the player and the teammates by 15%.

  • +

Decreases nearby enemies' speed by 15%.

  • +

Good for canceling out enemy's combos, especially the moves that need to be held.

  • +

Also makes the opponent unable to use moves for the next ~0.05s - 0.1s.

  • +

Good for both grinding and PvP.

  • +

    Insane burst damage.

  • +

    Breaks instinct.

  • +

    Increases damage for nearby teammates.

  • +

Since each hit, even M1s, count as one orb, using a fast attacking weapon like Hallow Scythe can be very effective against bosses or killing players.

  • +

Can turn short Instinct-trickable combos into one-shot unescapable combos.

Cons14
  • Very hard to obtain, requiring several quests to be completed.

  • V4 may cause lag to the player (weak devices).

  • Can be countered by keeping distances.

  • Due to a bug, after the 10 seconds is over, this actually decreases the player's base damage on Melee Fruit moves (3% on average, highest being 5% and lowest being 1%) until they die or switch teams.

  • No defensive buffs.

  • Needs quick reflexes and good timing.

  • Ignored by Human V4's Psycho passive's second gear.

  • Dealing continuous damage with the same move (such as Dough [V], Skull Guitar [X], etc.) will only count as dealing damage once, which summons only one orb.

  • Only increases damage for teammates standing inside the domain/aura.

  • Only reflects a portion of damage back to the enemies, the player still can be killed.

  • After recent nerfs, the damage is quite mediocre.

  • Only reflects damage to the enemies who are standing inside the domain/aura.

  • Only increases defense for the teammates standing inside the domain/aura.

  • Bad for anything outside of PvP even with v2 as enemy NPCs close to the player's level have more than 2x the amount of the player's HP.

Draco — In-Depth Analysis

## What Draco Is and How to Get It

Draco is the rarest and most exclusive bloodline in Blox Fruits — it is the only race obtainable exclusively in the Third Sea, locked behind the Dragon Wizard quest chain. That means you cannot even begin pursuing it until you've reached late-game progression. The multi-step quest and its Third Sea requirement make Draco the most time-gated race in the game by design.

## Role, Strengths, and Weaknesses

Draco is a team-and-burst powerhouse. Its standout passive increases damage and movement speed for nearby teammates by 15% while simultaneously slowing enemies by 15% — a dual swing that can flip entire fights. V4 adds damage reflection and burst inside a domain sphere, making it top-tier for group PvP, team sea events, and high-HP boss encounters. Even M1 attacks generate orbs in V4, so fast-attacking weapons like Hallow Scythe become especially efficient.

The downsides are notable: it's the hardest race to obtain, V4's large VFX sphere can cause lag on low-end devices (affecting both you and opponents), and the damage reflection only applies to enemies standing inside the domain. After post-release nerfs, the raw damage output in 1v1 scenarios is considered mediocre. The race is also bugged to reduce melee-fruit damage slightly after V4 expires.

Tip: In sea events, position yourself centrally in your crew so teammates benefit from the aura buff — Draco's 15% damage and speed bonus is most impactful when the whole team stays inside the domain sphere.
