Bone Needle and Thread guide
Bone Needle and Thread is a collector's tool: every 10 seconds during a match it highlights Pumpkins and Halloween decor near you, which since version 0.29.1 also covers collectible Halloween objects. That matters because the event currency, Pumpkins, comes mostly from objects on the floor. Each floor holds 2 Pumpkin objects worth 5 Pumpkins each, 10 per floor in total, and finding both quickly is what the Trinket helps with.
The Halloween Event runs from October 2 to November 6, 2026, and this Trinket is one of four that returned from 2025. It came out on October 10, 2025 with Memory Locket, Moon Pack Heirloom and Soul Sword. Pumpkins pay for Toons like Ribecca (300), Soulvester (700), Eclipse (1500) and Gourdy (3000, plus Ichor), so a faster sweep of each floor gets you to those purchases sooner.
The unlock is 100% Research on Twisted Ribecca, a Common (75 of 110 spawn weight at the start), which probably makes it the quickest of the four to earn. No Ichor is charged. Because the effect needs the event's items to exist, it does nothing after the event ends.
