Dandy Plush guide
Dandy Plush halves your spending in Dandy's Shop. The shop opens in the elevator when the next floor is even, and with the plush a Pop that costs 25 Tapes costs 13, and a Bottle o' Pop at 85 costs 43. That sounds large, but the wiki warns that its value shrinks the deeper you go, since most Toons end up with Tapes to spare in the late game. It is not a long-run pick.
The Toons that gain are the ones that burn Tapes fast: Sprout, Ginger and Teagan, who spend them on healing actives (Sprout pays 100, Teagan 75). Even for them the wiki says they do not really need it. The odd best case it names is Bassie during Easter Research runs, who can buy items cheaply and pass them to a Sprout or Ginger, effectively buying Tapes for them. Cosmo can use the savings on Bandages and Health Kits.
The unlock is 100% Research on Twisted Dandy, the Lethal-rarity Twisted. The Lethal rarity has no documented spawn weight, and Dandy's own detection ranges are 80 direct and 9999 hearing, so approaching for encounters is dangerous. There is no Ichor price. The wiki dates it to June 14, 2024, the day of the game's alpha release, and it is available now.
