Lucky Coin is a slot machine in Trinket form: every floor it gives you a 12% boost to one random stat, and the previous floor's boost wears off when you enter the next. The wiki's blunt verdict is that it leans entirely on luck and is not recommended, but it names the cases where the odds work for you. All-rounder Toons such as Gourdy, Looey, Teagan, Tisha, Yatta and Waxwell can use whatever stat comes up to decide what to do that floor.
The numbers show where it is best. A 12% boost to walk speed stacks multiplicatively with Dog Plush's 10%, giving 23.2% in total, more than the 15.5% from Speedy Shoes with Dog Plush. For extractors, 12% on Extraction Speed or Skill Check helps, and a stat of Stealth can backfire, since a hidden Stealth boost may make teammates easier to spot than you.
As Gigi, the Trinket removes Common items from her Surprise! ability pool, which makes that random item better on average. Research is on Twisted Gigi, a Rare, and it was added on September 28, 2024. No Ichor needed, and it is available now.
