Bottles

Twelve bottles in a wooden crate: that is the whole appearance of the Bottles item, a crate rather than a single object. It is found in The Stairwell, labeled a Large Item, and the one thing to do with it is sell it at a Depot. The floor's page values it at 3 Salvage Scrap, which Cobbler pays out as 30 Gold.

Position among the heavy items

Three scrap places it tied with the Broken Lamp and one above the Gasoline Tank, the Large Screw and the Pack of Gween Soda. The Broken Computer pays 4 and the Tophat 5. A Peach Cobbler costs 250 Gold, which is 25 scrap, so roughly nine crates of Bottles would buy one.

Carrying one

A crate needs both hands, so using any other hotbar item requires dropping it first. A Shopping Cart lets the player move a limited number of large items, and the floor's tips mention that a Briefcase can carry scrap so it can be moved to the cart more efficiently. Heavy items can also be stored in the Rift or in suitcases.

Achievement note

The Bottles page repeats the Storage Wars entry: A thousand is the best I can do, for earning 1000+ Gold at a Depot in one deposit.
