The joke in the Large Screw's wiki entry is that its appearance is a large screw, but large in size, and the item behaves just as plainly. It is a Large Item from The Stairwell and nothing else: a Depot accepts it, and the floor's list prices it at 2 Salvage Scrap, or 20 Gold once Cobbler pays 10 per piece. That puts it alongside the Gasoline Tank and the Pack of Gween Soda at the low end of the heavy items.
Why it is worth picking up
Cheap does not mean useless. A run through The Stairwell has long stretches of stairs and landings with Stems, Creak and Noise as threats, and scrap is how players pay for what Cobbler stocks at the top: the Peach Cobbler for 250 Gold and the Scanner for 500. Thirteen Large Screws would cover the dessert.
Carrying rules
The Large Screw needs both hands. Switching to another hotbar item means dropping it, unless a Stem is picked up while holding it, which moves the screw into the hotbar as a normal item that becomes heavy again once equipped. A Shopping Cart carries a limited number, and Rift or suitcase storage is allowed.
