Candy Bags

Candy Bags are the loot item of the 2025 Trick Or Treat Event, also called the Halloween Spotlight Event, and a bag opens into 3 to 5 random candies. It is a purple bag with an orange square stitched onto it and the Death Screen symbol printed on it. It is a minor item with a maximum stack of 5, sold for 100 Gold by Grampy in the Sonny 'n' Sally's shop that exists during the event.

Where bags come from

They can be found in containers and are guaranteed inside Crypts. On this event's floor they completely replace Lotus Petals, which means that feeding Bread to the Caws raises their spawn rate heavily, just as it does for petals in The Outdoors.

The event around them

The event began on October 23, 2025 and ended on December 1, 2025, and was re-added as a vision on February 5, 2026. The floor has 500 rooms, mostly from The Outdoors with some The Greenhouse stretches in between, in a reality where the World Lotus becomes a World Pumpkin. Only two rooms are open at a time before Void takes them, the smallest threshold in the game.

Admin Panel slip

On release, bags could be taken from the Admin Panel in unlimited numbers, which allowed unlimited candies. That bug was patched three hours after the update.
