Drift Claw guide
Anyone looking for the Drift Claw is too late. It is an Extinct fish from Waveborne, tagged Unobtainable, and the wiki records it as a night catch on Shrimp during autumn rain. Specimens ran from 46 kg to 252 kg, with an 83 kg average, and the entry describes a dark red fish with bright red accents.
As a prize it was modest. At about C$0.333 per kg it averaged only C$27.7, ranking 712th of the 742 documented fish by value, even though its 252 kg maximum is 230th of 663 by weight. Base XP was 20. A heavy body and a tiny price tag: that is the whole story of this fish.
Storm Skipper is the other Extinct fish documented in Waveborne, and Firefly Rod is the rod sold there. Because you cannot catch the Drift Claw today, there is no route to plan and nothing to sell. Its main value now is as a reference entry, showing that being Extinct did not guarantee a high price.
