Kraken's Herald guide

Kraken's Herald is the messenger of the Kraken: a massive creature whose arrival, the game says, often comes before great disturbances in the deep. It is a Legendary fish found in two places, Atlantis and Kraken Pool, and it bites at Night on Truffle Worm, in any weather and season.

Its scale matters. An average catch weighs 374 kg, ranging from 188.6 kg to 1,000 kg, and that top weight is 169th of 663 for fish size. It sells for C$2,244, which is 252nd of the 742 documented fish by average value, and gives 1,500 base XP. The price per kg is C$6, so the money comes from mass.

Abyssal King, Deep Emperor, Deep Behemoth and Thunder Serpent share its rarity in the same waters. Both zones sell the Abyssal Specter Rod, Champions Rod, Depthseeker Rod and Tempest Rod, so you can gear up where you fish. With no weather or season gates, the only requirement is darkness, which makes it one of the easier Legendary fish to schedule. Fish it for XP first and coins second: C$2,244 is a decent sale, but 1,500 XP is where it earns its place in your routine.
