The Kraken guide

Catching The Kraken means fishing Atlantis at night with Truffle Worm. It is an Exotic hunt fish, and the numbers show why people chase it: it weighs 50,000 to 378,000 kg (115,000 kg on average), which ranks 36 of 663 for maximum weight, and it sells for about C$23,958 on average, 75 of 742 documented fish.

The price per kilo is tiny, around C$0.21, so the value comes entirely from size. That also means a small roll hurts far less than you might expect from a fish this rare: even the 50,000 kg minimum is a huge animal. The 20,000 base XP is a large payout on its own, so the catch is worth keeping in mind for levelling too.

Atlantis sells Abyssal Specter Rod, Champions Rod, Depthseeker Rod and Tempest Rod, which gives you four rod options without leaving the zone.

Verdict: go for it only when the night window is open and you have bait ready. Sell it if you need C$24 thousand, but its base XP is the stronger reason to hunt it.
