Moon Idol guide
Few catches in Fisch carry the combination of price and weight that the Moon Idol does. Described as a moon-shaped stone with an unmatched spirit, it is a Secret catch from Blue Moon, available in Winter.
It weighs 50 kg on average, from 50 kg up to 100 kg, which ranks 281st of 663 fish with a documented maximum. At C$600 per kg, an average catch is worth C$30,000, 62nd of the 742 documented fish by average value, and gives 20,000 base XP. The value is strong, and the 20,000 base XP is large for a single catch.
There are no bait, weather or time conditions listed, so winter is the only requirement the data gives. Every catch weighs 50 kg or more, and the lighter ones still pay well because of the per-kg price.
My advice is to make it a priority whenever you are in Blue Moon during winter. The payout is high, the XP is generous and the weight range is narrow, which makes it easy to plan around. If you have the choice between this and lower-rarity catches in the same zone, spend your casts on the Idol.
