Pyre Fang guide

Pyre Fang is the kind of fish you reel in without noticing. It is a Common fish from Emberreach, caught by day in Foggy weather during Autumn on plain Worm bait, with sharp fins tinged with embers according to its description.

Its weight runs from 12 kg to 50.4 kg, averaging 18 kg, and at C$1.542 per kg an average fish sells for only about C$28. Base XP is 18. Those figures put it 711th of the 742 documented fish by average value, which means only 31 fish are worth less. By maximum weight it does better, 322nd of 663, so it is lightweight in price, not in size.

In the same zone and rarity, the only other documented fish is Ashscale Minnow, so Emberreach's Common slot is a small pool.

The verdict is simple. Do not spend bait, time or a trip on Pyre Fang. If it lands on your hook while you are targeting something better in Emberreach, sell it and move on, or keep it only if you are filling a collection. Its value is real but tiny, and Worm is cheap enough that catching it will not hurt, though it will not help either.
