Sandbar Loach guide

Drylands has water too, and Sandbar Loach is proof. A Common fish, it bites on Worm during Clear weather in Summer. The entry describes a slender, smooth fish that filters nutrients from silty underground inflows.

It is very light: 0.5 to 5.3 kg, with a 1.5 kg average. At C$19.2 per kg the average fish sells for about C$29, which is 704th of 742 by value, close to the bottom. It offers 28 base XP, and its maximum weight is 541st of 663.

There are no strong reasons to chase it. The same zone also holds Calcified Trilobite, Dryskin Minnow and Petrified Ammonite at Common rarity, so a Common bite in Drylands comes from a pool of four possibilities, and the loach is the one that pays the least of the group you can reasonably expect.

Tip: if you are in Drylands during Summer, bring Worm and let it come to you; there is no need to change anything for this fish. Sell it as soon as it lands, because the coins are barely noticeable and its XP will not carry a level.
