Vertigo guide
Getting into Vertigo means entering a strange whirlpool, and the record describes it as a mysterious place only reachable that way. It is obtainable, and its residents are Synth, Perdido, The Keeper and one listed only as "???".
Five fish are documented, one in each of five rarities. The best is The Depths Key, Exotic, at about C$640, followed by Voidfin Mahi (Rare, about C$348), Fangborn Gar (Unusual, about C$123), Twilight Eel (Uncommon, about C$67.5) and Spiderfish (Common, about C$19). That is a clean ladder where each step up pays more than the one below, so every rarity upgrade is a visible pay raise.
Two rods are sold here: the Nocturnal Rod at C$11,000 and the Aurora Rod at C$70,000. Both prices are moderate, so Vertigo is a place to upgrade without a huge budget.
Advice: this is a good stop for players mid-progression. Buy the Nocturnal Rod first, farm the Rare and Unusual fish, and keep the Aurora Rod as your next target once your money allows it.
