Dreambreaker review
Dreambreaker comes out of Cultist Lair as a quest reward, with a price tag of C$5,000,000 and a level requirement attached. For that spend you get Lure Speed 120, 17th of 184 obtainable rods, and Resilience 66, 12th of 184. Luck of 215 and Control of 0.23 sit 43rd of 184 and 25th of 185 respectively, so it is strong across the board without topping any list.
The problem is price against Luck. Cinder Block Rod offers 300 Luck for C$50,000, Destiny Rod gives 250 for C$190,000, and Heaven's Rod gives 250 for C$1,750,000, all cheaper and at least as lucky. It also has a passive, which is the only part those comparisons do not cover.
So who is it for? Someone who wants a balanced rod with fast bites and solid Resilience, and who cares about the passive more than the Luck column. If you only want better odds, the cheaper rods listed above get you further.
