Elder Mossripper review
Elder Mossripper is sold in Ancient Archives for C$350,000 plus Crafting Ingredients, and it also asks for a level requirement, so it belongs to the mid-game rather than an impulse purchase. Its Luck of 215 puts it 43rd of 184 obtainable rods, and its Lure Speed of 90 lands on the same 43rd place. Control of 0.2 ranks 29th of 185, and Resilience 50 ranks 20th of 184, so no stat here is a weak spot.
What sets it apart is the extra kit: a passive, Disturbance +3, +30% Progress Speed and a hunt focus on Mossjaw +8. That makes it a rod you aim at one target instead of carrying everywhere.
Ancient Archives also sells Anchor n' Chain, Dead Man's Rod, Cupid's Embrace, Lucid Rod and Precision Rod, so you can compare options without leaving the zone. Buy Elder Mossripper if you plan to hunt Mossjaw and have the ingredients ready. If you only want plain Luck, check those neighbours first.
