Leviathan's Fang Rod review
Built to survive the wrath of the Scylla, the Leviathan's Fang Rod is sold in the Veil of the Forsaken for C$350,000. Its description calls it a weaponized rod carving through relentless assaults, and it carries a passive.
The strength here is the combination of speed, Luck and capacity. 85 Lure Speed ranks 57th of 184 obtainable rods, 180 Luck ranks 55th, and the 230,000 kg cap is 21st of 117. Control of 0.1 is 76th of 185. The weak spot is Resilience: 10 puts it 129th of 184.
Price is where it gets competitive. Several rods beat its Luck for less: Cinder Block Rod (300 Luck, C$50,000), Destiny Rod (250 Luck, C$190,000) and Cupid's Embrace (214 Luck, C$15,000). So if raw Luck per coin is your measure, this is not the best deal.
What you get for the extra money is a rod with a high weight cap and quick bites, plus the passive. It suits players working through the Veil of the Forsaken who want heavy catches without waiting long. If you are trying to maximize rare fish per coin, start with the cheaper options.
