Wingripper review
Wingripper is gone for good: the wiki tags it Unobtainable and Quest Reward, and it also required a level, so there is no way to pick one up today. It was tied to the Underground Music Venue (Goth), and its flavor text talks about flowing between dimensions and "another timeline".
What survives is the stat line, and it is oddly tidy. Lure Speed 222, Luck 222, Control 0.22 and Resilience 22: every figure is built around the number 22, which looks deliberate rather than tuned for balance. Those values are decent for a rod of its era, with Luck and Lure Speed well above what a starter rod gives, but the page offers no weight limit and no passive.
Because it cannot be obtained, there is no buying advice to give and no rod it can be compared against in practice. Treat it as a historical entry: useful if you spot one in another player's inventory, or if you are trying to understand which quest rewards once existed in the game.
If you want something with similar stats you can actually earn, look at the obtainable rods in the Underground Music Venue instead.
