Fortune Rod review
The Fortune Rod is one of the better-value Luck buys in Roslit Bay, at C$11,000. Its description calls it an extremely lucky rod with an odd tendency to attract significantly rarer fish than usual. It has no passive.
The Luck number backs that up. 200 Luck ranks 46th of 184 obtainable rods, which is a strong position for such a low price. The trade-off is everything else: 30 Lure Speed ranks 154th, so bites take a while, and Control of 0.05 is 112th of 185. Resilience of 10 is 129th, and its 3,000 kg cap is 81st of 117.
Only one rod beats its Luck for less money, View Smasher at 230 Luck for C$0. That tells you the Fortune Rod is close to the best deal around, short of free options.
If your goal is rarer fish and you are happy to wait through slower bites, this is a smart pick in Roslit Bay. The other rods sold there, Blazebringer Rod, Magma Rod, Rapid Rod and Steady Rod, trade Luck for other strengths. If you want speed or toughness, one of them may suit you better.
