Lullaby review
Hawaii is the place to buy Lullaby, and the price is steep: C$50,121,212. Its in-game line says a fool found a companion in Hawaii, which is as much lore as the wiki gives.
Look at where it ranks among the 184 obtainable rods. Luck of 225 is 40th, Lure Speed of 90 is 43rd, and Control of 0.25 is 15th of 185, which is the best of its stats. Resilience of 25 is 62nd. Plus it adds +2 Disturbance. There is no passive. In short, everything is above average and nothing is exceptional, with handling as the highlight.
The price is hard to defend. Cinder Block Rod offers luck 300 for C$50,000, Destiny Rod offers luck 250 for C$190,000, and Dead Man's Rod offers luck 300 for C$5,000,000. All cost much less and give you more Luck than Lullaby does, so spending over fifty million coins here buys you balance rather than raw power.
Who is it for? Someone who already owns the stronger cheap rods and wants a smooth, well-rounded setup with solid Control. For anyone still progressing, the cheaper options above will take you further, faster. If you do buy it, do it for the handling, not the Luck.
