Sword of light

Sword of light costs 17,500,000 at the Black Market, and it carries the Limited tag even though it is still obtainable today. The pitch is all offense: 250 Luck puts it 25th of 184 obtainable rods, and 200 Lure Speed is 6th of 184, so bites arrive fast and the catches skew rare. Resilience of 50 ranks 20th, which is also respectable.

The catch is the weight cap. A maximum of 1 kg ranks 115th of 117 rods with a documented limit, so anything heavy is out of reach. Control of 0.17 lands 48th of 185, decent but not the reason to buy. It has no passive.

Its neighbors at the Black Market are Bone Blade, Electric Guitar, Nates Blade, Sword of Darkness and Upside-Down Rod, so you are choosing among oddities there. The flavor line, "afraid of the light", fits the theme.

Verdict: a fine pick if you want Luck and speed near the top tier and plan to fish small and mid-size species. If you chase giants, the 1 kg ceiling will frustrate you, and the price is steep for a rod you cannot use on heavy fish.
