Plaguereaver

Plaguereaver costs C$13,750,000 in Toxic Grove and is also tagged as a quest reward. It has a passive, a Disturbance of +5, a Progress Speed of 75 and a hunt focus on Rotbloom +5.

This is a handling rod above all. Control of 0.4 ranks 5th of 185, one of the best on the list, and the 75 Progress Speed helps the reel minigame move along. The price of that is paid at the other end: Lure Speed of 15 is 167th of 184 obtainable rods, so bites arrive slowly, and Resilience of 0 is 161st of 184.

Luck of 175 is 61st of 184, a decent middle. It is not what you buy this for, and cheaper rods beat it on that front: Challenger's Rod (luck 190, C$750,000), Cerulean Fang Rod (luck 190, C$800,000) and Cinder Block Rod (luck 300, C$50,000) all have more Luck for far less.

So the sensible reading is this: Plaguereaver is for players who value precise, steady reeling and the Rotbloom hunt focus, and who are patient enough to wait for bites. Decayed Rod is the other rod sold in Toxic Grove if you want a cheaper comparison.
