Rainbow Cluster Rod review
Rainbow Cluster Rod is sold in Castaway Cliffs for C$250,000. It carries a passive tied to Rainbow weather, which the description says boosts your chance and increases progress speed while it lasts.
Its numbers are balanced rather than flashy. Luck of 180 ranks 55th of 184 obtainable rods, Resilience of 25 is 62nd of 184, and the 50,000 kg weight limit is 45th of 117. Lure Speed of 60 is the soft spot at 112th of 184, and Control of 0 sits 141st of 185, so bites are slowish and handling is basic.
The price is where it gets awkward. Three cheaper rods offer equal or better Luck: Cinder Block Rod (luck 300, C$50,000), Destiny Rod (luck 250, C$190,000) and Cupid's Embrace (luck 214, C$15,000). On pure Luck, spending C$250,000 here is hard to justify.
What you would be paying for is the Rainbow weather bonus and the high weight capacity. If you fish during that weather and haul heavy fish, it has a niche. Otherwise those cheaper alternatives give you more Luck for less.
