Vineweaver Rod review
Vineweaver Rod is a crafted rod from the Ancient Archives, built from Crafting Ingredients and gated behind a level requirement. Its passive turns the end of the fight into your advantage: in the last 30% of the minigame the fish is bound, there is a 30% chance it takes a Vined form, and you also gain +10% Forced Progress Speed.
The stats are balanced toward durability. 117 Luck ranks 97th of 184 obtainable rods, Lure Speed of 80 ranks 71st, Control of 0.1 ranks 76th of 185, and Resilience of 40 ranks 30th. The standout is the weight limit: 50,000 kg ranks 45th of 117, which leaves plenty of room for large fish.
None of the individual numbers is top-tier, but it is consistent, and the passive actively helps you land fish instead of just attracting them. That suits players who lose fish late in the fight.
The Ancient Archives also provides Anchor n' Chain, Elder Mossripper, Dead Man's Rod, Cupid's Embrace and Lucid Rod, so check what your crafting materials can make there. Choose Vineweaver Rod if reliability and a chance of Vined fish matter more to you than peak Luck.
