The Bird Egg is a limited egg introduced during the Hungry Birds Event, and the "limited" label is the single most important thing to understand about it: once that event rotates out, the egg stops being obtainable, so its window to buy is finite. This page does not record a fixed price or full hatch list, so treat the cost as event-dependent and judge it by the pool it feeds.

That pool is the real reason to buy. The Bird Egg is the gateway to the bird lineup, headlined by the prismatic Birb at a brutal 0.1% chance alongside more common feathered pets that fill out the bracket. In other words, most of your eggs deliver ordinary birds, and the prismatic is the rare jackpot sitting at the top of the table.

Is it worth it? During the event, yes, for two reasons: limited eggs gain collector value after they vanish, and it is the only route to the Birb. If you are not gunning for that top-end prismatic, buy a handful for the common pets and the limited tag, but do not over-invest expecting the 0.1% to hit.
