1How Crystal Defense Works

You enter Crystal Defense using Crystal Keys, which are farmed from any Sea 2 NPC. Inside, your single job is to protect a central crystal from waves of enemies that grow noticeably stronger with each round. Every wave you successfully clear pays out Crystal Coins. The mode is a marathon rather than a sprint — the further you push, the bigger the per-wave coin payouts become and the rarer the boss loot that appears.

2Spending Crystal Coins — The Right Order

   Survivability lets you reach deeper waves, and deeper waves pay far more Crystal Coins.

Because the Demon Dweller title alone is a +100% damage multiplier, pushing deep into Crystal Defense is one of the single most efficient ways to spike your permanent power in the whole game.

4The Coin-Cycling Trick

Once your permanent stat upgrades are already strong, there is a well-known farming trick: deliberately lose on an early wave to end the run quickly, then immediately start another. This cycles short runs fast, and because the early waves are trivial for a built character, you bank Crystal Coins at a steady rate without committing to a full marathon.
