Scorched Dragon has one of the largest base weights the wiki records: 120,000 kg, the same as Archdemon Dragon, ArchAngel and World Burner. Only Nightflame, at 160,000 kg, is listed heavier. Its income, $35M/s, is modest by comparison, which is a good reason to understand what that weight number actually means.
Why a huge base weight is not a huge bonus
The wiki's income formula compares a pet's actual weight to its own hidden base weight. Below 125× the base weight, income grows with the ratio raised to 37/60; above 125×, the formula switches to a gentler curve with diminishing returns. In plain terms:
- A Scorched Dragon card showing a very high kg value is not automatically a good roll. What matters is how far it is above 120,000 kg.
- At 100× base weight the wiki puts income at roughly 17× the base; at 200×, around 23×.
- Comparing kg between two different pets tells you nothing on its own.
