Aerodynamics — In-Depth Analysis
Aerodynamics involves a tablet found in the Ice Temple. The requirement is to take the Winged Boost Pad Tablet from the temple and put it inside the grinder, which is how a tablet is used. So the badge has two parts: reach the Ice Temple and pick up the tablet, then bring it back to a grinder. The tablet is a recipe item, and using it is what completes the task, not simply carrying it around.
Its listed difficulty is 1 star of difficulty, and the payout is a reward of 8 diamonds.
In the Biome Refresher update of August 22, 2026, the boost pad recipe tablet is described as being ensnared in ice at the center of the ice palace. It upgrades the Boost Pad so that it does not need recharging and gives a slightly faster speed boost. The update also reduced the ice palace's reward to two Gem of the Forest fragments instead of three. The badge pays 8 diamonds.
