The Engineering badge asks you to build 50 structures from the Crafting Bench, and despite the big-sounding number it sits at just 1-star difficulty with a reward of 5 diamonds. It is a grind badge rather than a skill check — nothing here can kill you, so the only real obstacle is gathering enough materials.

The smart approach is to focus on the cheapest possible structures and spam-build them. Wood is the bottleneck early, so chop consistently each day and stockpile logs before you start a building session. Walls, spike traps, and small defensive pieces are usually the most resource-efficient way to rack up your count, and they double as base fortification, so the effort is never wasted.

Because the requirement counts total builds across your save, not unique types, you can repeatedly place the same low-cost item to climb toward 50. Playing with a team accelerates this massively — split the harvesting so one player gathers while another builds, and you will clear the badge in a couple of productive sessions without ever putting yourself in danger.
