Seismology tasks you with breaking 25 Meteors, framed in-game as mining 25 meteor crystals. It carries a forgiving 1-star difficulty and pays 5 diamonds, so the only real cost is patience while you wait for meteors to appear.

Meteors are environmental events: chunks of crystal that land in the world and need to be mined down before they vanish or get claimed by someone else. The key efficiency tip is bringing a strong mining tool such as a good axe or pickaxe, because a higher-tier tool breaks each meteor in far fewer hits and lets you finish a crystal before rivals or nightfall interrupt you. Watch the sky and listen for the impact, then move quickly to the landing spot.

Since the requirement is a running total of 25, you do not need a single dramatic session. Mine every meteor crystal you come across over several runs and the count climbs steadily. In multiplayer, split the map so teammates do not contest the same rock, and prioritize meteors near your base where you can mine safely. Do this consistently and the badge unlocks without ever feeling grindy.
