Husbandry — In-Depth Analysis
The Husbandry badge is deceptively gentle at 1 star for 4 diamonds, but the wording hides a real catch. You must tame a powerful animal such as a Bear, Mammoth or Hellephant using a strong Taming Flute and feeding it the required food the required number of times. Critically, taming a Bunny, Wolf or Alpha Wolf does NOT count toward this badge.
The practical hurdle is preparation. You need a high-tier flute (the basic flute will not subdue a Bear), plus a stockpile of the specific food the animal demands, and you must keep yourself alive while standing close to a dangerous creature long enough to complete the feeding cycle. Approach when the beast is calm, feed it the moment the prompt appears, and repeat until the taming meter fills.
A Bear is usually the most accessible target since it spawns in the regular forest, whereas the Mammoth and Hellephant live in harsher biomes. Once tamed, the animal fights for you, so this badge doubles as a defensive upgrade. Bring backup food in case you mistime a feed and have to restart the sequence.
