The gating factor is not skill but progression: the Meteor Anvil is a late-tier crafting station tied to meteor-fall events, so the badge naturally lands once you have pushed deep enough into a run to unlock end-game materials.

The real cost here is resources. Each of the five crafts consumes meteor-derived ingredients, so you will want a stockpile of meteor fragments and the metals refined from them before you commit. Because the count is cumulative, you do not need to craft all five in one sitting; partial progress carries, so chip away at it across a long survival run rather than burning your entire stash at once.

Tip: prioritize crafting items you actually need anyway, like upgraded gear or obsidiron-tier equipment, so the five crafts double as genuine power spikes instead of wasted busywork. Coordinating with teammates to pool meteor materials makes hitting the 5-item threshold far quicker on a single night.
