Gifting Elf โ€” In-Depth Analysis

The Gifting Elf is a limited class from the 2025 Christmas event in 99 Nights in the Forest, bought for 900 candy canes. Its identity is a steady trickle of presents. At level 1 you receive a small Red Present blueprint every 3 minutes, which can be placed on the ground around the campfire or handed to teammates. Opening a present gives one item chosen from a loot pool of fuel canister, rifle ammo, revolver ammo, bandage and cake.

Level 2 unlocks after gifting players 40 times and lets you spawn with a present right away. Level 3 needs 90 gifts and makes a single gold present appear after day 20. Unlike the presents of the Christmas event, both the small red presents and the big gold one can only be opened once, by a single team member, and cannot be shared.

The wiki describes it as a late-game support class that shines in a full party running cultist stronghold runs or aiming for day 100, since presents stack up in your inventory without limit and supply ammo, bandages, fuel and cakes. The gold present also gives a chance at a good weapon. Its weaknesses are a slow start with no starter weapons, random results, and little value for solo play. It reportedly gained potential once the Christmas update ended and ammo and bandages stopped being overabundant.
