Vampire Scythe

The Vampire Scythe is a melee weapon in 99 Nights in the Forest, described as a weaker but similar version of the standard Scythe. It hits for 45 damage per swing, which is respectable for clearing wolves, infected, and other midnight threats, while keeping the wide reaching arc that makes scythe-style weapons good at catching multiple enemies in one motion.

The catch is exclusivity. The only way to obtain the Vampire Scythe is through the Vampire Class, so there is no chest, no crafting recipe, and no map spawn that hands it to you. If you are not running that class, this weapon simply is not on the table, which makes it more of a class-identity tool than a general loot target.

Is it worth using? For Vampire Class players, absolutely, it arrives as part of your kit and the 45 damage is plenty to carry you through fights without relying on scarce ammo or grenades. Just keep its framing in mind: since it is the weaker sibling of the full Scythe, dedicated melee builds will eventually want the stronger original.
