- It can be found in Broken UFOs and Mothership UFOs. It can also be found as a reward from Alien Chests. During the 2025 Halloween Event Update, by Trick-or-Treating, you could get the Laser Cannon as a bonus item when you get a Treat from an Alien. Upon equipping the Cyborg Class, the player spawns with a Laser Cannon in their inventory. It can also be gained from presents opened by those using the elf class, or from rescuing an elf and obtaining it from the golden present in the Christmas update .

The Laser Cannon is a top-tier ranged weapon and one of the hardest hitters you can carry, listing roughly 7,087 damage per shot. Beyond raw power it deals ranged area damage with good crowd control, so instead of picking off one enemy at a time you can blast clustered mobs and clear a nighttime swarm before it reaches your Campfire. That AoE profile is what makes it special — few weapons let you delete groups at distance.
Sourcing is varied but all endgame-flavored. It drops from Broken UFOs and Mothership UFOs and from Alien Chests, and several events feed it too: Trick-or-Treating during the 2025 Halloween event could hand it over as a bonus Treat from an Alien, and the Christmas update offers it via elf-opened presents, rescued elves, and the golden present. The Cyborg Class also spawns with one in inventory, which is the most reliable guaranteed route.
Is it worth grabbing? Without question. With ~7,087 damage plus area effect, it trivializes both single bosses and packed waves, and ranged reach keeps you safe while doing it. If you find one or run Cyborg, make it your primary weapon and prioritize keeping it fed for the rest of the run.
