Laser Sword — In-Depth Analysis
The Laser Sword is the single hardest-hitting melee weapon in 99 Nights in the Forest, landing an absurd 2,530,232 damage per swing. That number is not a typo for ordinary forest combat: it is balanced around the late-game alien event, where enemies have enormously inflated health pools. Against regular wolves, bears or cultists it is pure overkill, deleting anything in a single tap.
You will only ever get one by engaging the UFO content. It drops from Broken UFOs and Mothership UFOs, and also appears inside Alien Chests, so it is locked behind reaching and surviving the alien encounter rather than anything you can craft at a bench.
Is it worth grabbing? Absolutely, if you have any plan to fight the Mothership or push deep runs. It trivializes the bullet-sponge alien bosses that would otherwise eat through your entire stockpile of arrows and bandages. For a casual survival night it is a flex weapon more than a necessity, but as an endgame trophy with literal seven-figure damage, the Laser Sword is the strongest blade you can carry.
