The Barn stands out from the other facilities for one reason that matters: its rarity is flagged as rare. In a map where most structures spawn freely, a rare tag means the Barn won't show up every run, so when it does appear it carries a built-in sense of priority — you may not get another chance at it this game.

Its loot is the familiar survival spread of Fuel, Scrap, Special, and Mossy Coins, the same dependable quartet you find at camps and farms. The difference is scarcity rather than contents: because the Barn is rarer, hitting one is a chance to top up on resources you might otherwise have to grind several common sites to match. The Special drop combined with the rare spawn makes a confirmed Barn worth re-routing for.

The risk is partly that scarcity itself. A rare location can tempt you into a long, exposed trek just to reach it, and a barn's tall, open interior with hay and lofts offers awkward sightlines for spotting threats. Approach with a weapon ready, sweep the ground floor and any upper level quickly, prioritize the Special and Coins, and weigh the travel time honestly against the daylight you have left.
