Cherished Blanket is one of the newest Trinkets in the game, added on August 7, 2026, and it is also one of the narrowest: it extends the duration of Trails left by your Abilities by 4 seconds and does nothing for a Toon whose Abilities leave no Trail. The wiki states that Waxwell is the only Toon it actually affects. His active, Ignite, lasts 10 seconds, removes his Tired II debuff and leaves a flame trail while he moves; Toons who touch it get the Ignited buff, which makes their ability cooldowns recover twice as fast for 5 seconds. Ignite has a 60-second cooldown.
Four extra seconds means the flame stays on the floor longer, so more teammates have a chance to cross it. The wiki's own verdict is that the gain is small, and the numbers agree: against a 60-second cooldown, 4 seconds is about 7% more coverage. Waxwell has 5 stars in both Skill Check and Movement Speed but only 1 in Stamina, so he tends to run the floor rather than camp a machine.
The unlock is 100% Research on Twisted Waxwell, a Rare Twisted (10 of 110 spawn weight at the start). It has no Ichor price and can be claimed now.
