Candy guide
Candy is both a group of items and a currency, added in the 2024 Trick Or Treat Event, and every piece has a hidden effect. It can be collected by opening Candy Bags, knocking on a Treater's door or finding it in containers on the Trick or Treat floor. Eating one triggers one of 47 effects. There are 27 candy appearances, and at the start of each floor the effect behind each look is reshuffled, so an unknown type shows up as ??? in the inventory until it has been eaten once.
Three fixed ones
Three candies are the exception: the one with the Guiding Light moon always gives Life Saver, the one with the Starlight symbol gives Star Burst and the one with the Modifier symbol gives Can-die.
Examples of effects
- Delicious Candy heals 40 HP instantly.
- Cinnamon permanently raises walking speed by 1.
- Hard Candy adds 30 max HP but lowers speed by 2.
- Expired Candy deals 20 damage instantly.
- Tax Deductions takes 30% of the player's Gold.
- Run From It spawns Dread and sets the time to 12:00.
Currency and badges
The counter tracks how many candies were eaten and turns them into currency; Can-die adds 5 instead of 1. In 2025 the currency buys Halloween-themed Item Skins. Sugar Rush asks for 100 candies in 2024, and Sugar Crash for 500. The wiki marks the page as outdated.
