Lotus

The Lotus is the only item in DOORS that undoes a death. You make it by gathering 8 Lotus Petals in The Outdoors and taking them to Grampy, who crafts the flower; every player gets one of their own. It is not bought with Gold or Knobs, and it was added on August 10, 2025.

Planting and reviving

Plant it anywhere on the ground and a pink lotus with a yellow bud sprouts, trailing a green thorny vine. When you die, a "Use Lotus" option shows every lotus placed by you or by dead teammates. Choosing one respawns you at that spot, starting a new run in multiplayer. The Lotus is only consumed when its owner decides to revive with it.

• You can have several planted at once.
• It works between floors: die in The Mines and revive in The Outdoors where you planted it.
• Your items return to your inventory, and permanent status effects such as the Green Herb are kept.
• It cannot be used in the Lobby.
• Teammates who revive through your Lotus without having used their own do not save their items.

Louie gives a Gween Soda 50% of the time when handed one, and its achievement text reads "Binded back together".
