Compass

The Compass launched on August 10, 2025 with The Great Outdoors Update, and it was strong enough that the Pre-Run Shop version in The Outdoors was pulled about 25 minutes later; the wiki says Redibles removed it because it was overpowered. It sold there for 100 Knobs, with the line "Find your way".

Today it spawns in containers and cabins in The Outdoors, and The Stairwell's Pre-Run Shop sells it for 250 Knobs with the line "Find your way back to the stairs".

How it works

The needle points to the next door. Once you reach it, the compass swings toward the next main door. At the last door of a floor it points to the extra door that confirms the game is working, such as 101 or 201. The round case shows the cardinal points in 30-degree steps, and a Starlight symbol on the base; Redibles confirmed that the item is themed around Curious Light.

Where it helps

• Crossing The Outdoors quickly without checking side rooms, useful for speedrunning.
• Trivializing Dupe.
• Guiding you through the Hedge Maze.

It is no use during Eyestalk's chase. On release a bug kept it closed when equipped. Louie gives a Gween Soda 25% of the time for one.
