Donut guide

Getting a Donut in a normal run takes luck and a Skeleton Key. It heals 80 HP, more than Bread or Cheese, and it came with The Great Outdoors Update on August 10, 2025. The wiki places it in the Café room in The Hotel, one of three Mid-Run Rift sub-room variants and by far the rarest. The Café always holds a Donut, and its door is locked with a Skull Lock that needs the Skeleton Key.

During the Halloween Spotlight event there is an easier route: Grampy, Sonny & Sally's sells it for 100 Gold, and eating it still earns the "D'oh!" badge, a Simpsons reference whose text reads "Nut!". The Prize Inside candy can also produce one, it can be kept in the Rift, and it exists in Battle Mode, although eating it there does not grant the badge.

Louie

If you give a Donut to Louie in The Mines, he may hand back a Bandage Pack, Battery Pack, Flashlight, Vitamins, Lockpick, Shears or Multitool.

Looks

It has reddish-pink icing with yellow and blue sprinkles and, unlike a real one, a heptagon shape. Its eating sound matches Bread and Cheese.
